Do DERCHI entry doors comply with Australian standards?
Our aluminium door systems have been tested to AS 2047, achieving an N6 wind rating together with air infiltration, water penetration and operating-force performance. Test reports and certificates are supplied with your project documentation so your certifier or council can review them.
Can you ship to New Zealand and the Pacific Islands?
Yes. We export by sea in FCL or LCL containers to major Australian ports such as Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide, to Auckland and other New Zealand ports, and to Pacific destinations including Fiji and Papua New Guinea. Every door is protected in export-grade crating.
Which door material is best for coastal homes?
For salt-laden coastal air we recommend 316 stainless steel doors or aluminium doors with a marine-grade powder-coated or fluorocarbon finish, paired with stainless steel hardware. Our engineers will recommend a finish based on your site's distance from the coast.
Do you make custom-size and oversized pivot doors?
Yes. Sizes, finishes, glazing, handles and locking systems are fully customised, including large pivot doors for villas and commercial lobbies. Our in-house engineering team provides free CAD shop drawings that match your door schedule before production.
What installation support do you provide?
Each order ships with installation drawings and manuals, and our English-speaking engineers provide video guidance and remote support during Australian and New Zealand business hours.
